Communication Reimagined

When President John F. Kennedy announced that we were choosing to go to the moon, he dared us to dream big. Captivated and inspired, the entire country watched as an impossible mission transformed into an observable reality.

Telecommunications relay, video relay, the first online marketplace for sign language interpreting – CSD pioneered all three of these innovative, life-changing projects. When we started, we didn’t know how we were going to do it. We just knew it was the right thing to do, and that’s all that mattered.

Now after 40 years of working towards accessible communication, we choose to create a world that’s truly inclusive.

We know that deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people can build a better world together, one where each one of us is an active, self-actualized member of society. Together we can reach up to a higher version of ourselves and create an accessible, equitable tomorrow – for everyone.

The future can’t wait. We will look forward. We will be bold.
