Professional Development: St. Louis RPDC

St. Louis Regional Professional Development Center

The St. Louis Regional Professional Development Center (RPDC) operates under contract with Cooperating School Districts, and combines CSD staff development resources with Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) resources. The St. Louis RPDC is one of nine regional centers created by DESE as part of the educational reform act of 1993. Our vision is related to supporting the work of schools and districts to focus on enhanced teacher skills and increased student learning.

The St. Louis RPDC acts as a catalyst for school improvement by providing St. Louis area educators premier growth and development opportunities, specialized academies, consulting and evaluation services, community resources, plus information about models and applications of current research.

The St. Louis RPDC offers programs aimed at classroom and school improvement as well as individual professional growth for educators.  Our pooled resources enable the RPDC to offer cost-effective, high quality professional development with both national and local experts.
