Partnership to Ease K-12 Hiring Efforts

Netchemia Announces Partnership with CSD

School administrators looking for a cost-effective way to hire the best candidates for their district now have an improved high-tech solution, thanks to a partnership between Netchemia and Cooperating School Districts of Greater St. Louis (CSD). Netchemia (maker of SchoolRecruiter™) announced the partnership with CSD (maker of REAP™ - Regional Education Applicant Placement) earlier this week. The collaboration will create an improved online hiring experience for districts and candidates by opening the flow of communication and better organizing the entire hiring process. “We look forward to our partnership with Netchemia as a way to provide additional services for our REAP clients,” said Steve Keyser, CSD’s Deputy Executive Director/Chief Financial Officer. Hundreds of districts have taken advantage of either REAP’s recruiting or SchoolRecruiter’s candidate management in the past. The option for Missouri and Connecticut to now use both systems simultaneously will dramatically increase efficiency of recruiting and hiring all at once. “Hiring administrators, staff and candidates have been asking for more technology in the Human Resource office. The integration of REAP and SchoolRecruiter is the answer for those who are serious about getting organized and hiring the best candidates for their district,” said Carlos Antequera, Netchemia President. Once logged into the REAP System, job seekers complete one application and can then respond to REAP’s job postings within the state. By using the “Notify School I am interested in this job” function in the REAP job posting, interested applicants allow the school district to download their application electronically into the SchoolRecruiter system, eliminating the need for applicants to apply specifically to their district. Inside SchoolRecruiter, administrators and staff can manage all applicant tracking through screening, interviewing and hiring. Once a decision to hire is made, SchoolRecruiter then transfers new hire information directly into the district’s personnel/finance system. The agreement to integrate these services allows both companies to remain expertly focused on their specialized portion of the hiring process. This allocates more attention to be directed toward innovation and future advancements on both products.
