CSD Debuts NEW Legislative Action Center
Web site designed to assist member districts in advocacy work
The 58 Missouri school districts that are members of Cooperating
School Districts of Greater St. Louis (CSD) now have access to a
new Web site designed to provide support for public school advocacy
work. The CSD Legislative Action Center made its debut this month,
providing up-to-date information on state legislators, legislative
issues, elections and more.
Some key features include:
1) Find Your Local Legislators: CSD members can quickly locate legislators by simply entering an address and/or zip code. Members now have access to legislator bios, contact information and more.
2) View Legislative Updates/Alerts and "Take Action" items submitted by CSD, and then edit composed e-mails to send to local legislators. This SAVES TIME from having to compose e-mails on important, timely action items!
3) View key bills outlined by CSD, and track a House or Senate bill
4) View a 2007 Election Guide & Candidate Guide (as needed for upcoming elections)
5) Access a 2007 Media Guide
