Graduate Credit for Learning Division tele Classes and Academies - Summer 2013

 

Graduate credit is available through Lindenwood University for classes taken through CSD's Learning Division. This is an additional cost of $60 per credit hour payable to Lindenwood University. 

 

Requirements for graduate credit include:

  • • attend entire course
  • • participate in class, online, and in blended learning formats
  • • create a lesson plan that incorporates the technology learned in tele
  • • analyze and evaluate student outcomes
  • • evaluate your learning by writing a reflection about your lesson outcomes

 

Three hours of graduate credits available for:

  • Library Media Specialist (LMS) Academy
  • Technology Leadership Academy
  • Tech Camp for CCSS & NGA – Teaching and Learning with Technology

 

Two hours of graduate credit available for

  • Digital Citizenship – It’s Common Sense

 

One hour of graduate credit available for:

  • Digital Storytelling with Mobile Apps
  • Free Microsoft Tools for the Classroom
  • Learning & Collaborating with Google Drive
  • Taking Discovery Education streaming to the Next Level
  • Choosing Education-Friendly Mobile Apps
  • Visual Literacy & the Common Core Standards
  • Web 2.0 for the Common Core
  • Integrating Technology Tools in English Language Arts to Meet Common Core Standards
  • Digital Curation: How to Collect and Save Resources
  • Social Media Management
  • Using Digital Portfolios to Collect & Evaluate Student Work
  • DIY Infographics for Easy Data Reporting
  • Flipping Your Classroom with Video Cameras & Screencasting
  • Integrating Technology Tools in Math to Meet Common Core Standards
  • 3 C’s + School Librarian = Common Core Success
  • Creating SMART Board Lessons to Engage and Motivate Students (Level 2)
  • Best Practices in SMART Notebook Lesson Creation (Level 3)
  • Creating ActivBoard Lessons to Engage and Motivate Students (Level 2)
  • Best Practices in ActivBoard Flipchart Lessons (Level 3)

 

Graduate credit is not available for:

  • Transforming Learning with a SMART Board (Level 1)
  • Transforming Learning with a Promethean ActivBoard (Level 1)
  • Are You Ready to Moogle? Combining the Power of Moodle & Google
  • How to Use Cell Phones as TOOLS in the Classroom
