As educators, we must prepare students to live in a world without physical boundaries and help them learn how to work with others, virtually or otherwise. We’ll explore the nine elements of Digital Citizenship: Access, Commerce, Communication, Literacy, Etiquette, Law, Rights & Responsibilities, Health & Wellness, and Security. You’ll walk away with lessons based on the NETS that you can use tomorrow. This class is based on the material in Digital Citizenship in Schools, an ISTE 2011 bestseller. You’ll use this book and get experience with safe, legal, 21st century technology integration.  Purchase of the book is recommended, but not required.  Book cost: $25.87; let us know if you wish to add this option to your registration.
