CSD Bill Position Statements
CSD works actively in the state capitol to represent the best interests of all of our members. This includes meeting with legislators on critical topics and working closely with other educational organizations in our state.

The Consumption Tax has also been known as the “Fair Tax” and is a priority position in the combined CSD-St. Louis and CSD-Greater Kansas City legislative platform. From the platform: “A ‘Fair Tax’ approach should not be pursued in our state, as analysis has shown that a successful initiative would significantly decrease school districts’ funding for the children served by ALL public schools in Missouri.
