St. Louis Leadership Academy

Improving Student Achievement through Collaborative Leadership

The St. Louis Leadership Academy is a nationally recognized, professional development opportunity for school leaders from the St. Louis region.  Participants use the Missouri Model Leader Standards as a framework for exploring effective leadership practices.  Academy fellows meet at various sites in the St. Louis area fourteen times throughout the school year. In addition, members participate in the Satellite Academy Program (SAP) which brings together members of all nine Missouri Leadership Academies for fall, winter, and spring convocations and opportunities to learn collectively. Academy participants are selected through an application process that reflects demonstrated leadership and a diverse representation of the St.  louis region.

DIRECTIONS to the RCEW/RPDC:

DIRECTIONS from I-70 going East (toward downtown): Exit Hwy. I-70 East at Exit 240, Florissant Road/University Boulevard. Turn right and proceed to the intersection of University Blvd. and University Place Drive (first stop light). At that stop light, turn right onto University Place Drive. Make a left turn at the first street, Mark Twain Drive. Make another quick left down the hill and turn right onto the road which dead ends (Our building is straight ahead as you come down the hill). You will see the large red Regional Center for Education and Work sign on your left, Building #43.

Please note:  Visitor parking is provided along either side of the street, on the lot of the UMSL Post Office Building (underneath the awning only). Visitors can now park in the lower half of the R.C.E.W. parking lot.  If you park beyond the ìNo Guest Parking Beyond This Pointî sign you will be ticketed $50 by the UMSL Police Department (No Exceptions).
